Bulldog was established in May 2000 as a specialist provider of broadband and phone services to both consumers and businesses and is a pioneer of Local Loop Unbundling (LLU).
Bulldog was acquired by Cable and Wireless plc in May 2004, and is a wholly owned subsidiary. As part of Cable and Wireless, Bulldog has a unique heritage, and access to a £200m core Next Generation Network (NGN) that spans the country and is kept at the cutting edge of available technology.
From its inception, Bulldog has maintained its position as an industry leader and pioneer. Bulldog were the first UK ISP to offer 1, 2 and 4 meg services and in June 2005 Bulldog launched it’s combined superfast 8 meg broadband and phone service.
