Highly unreliable - especially at weekends.

"If you are a completely non-technical user and you will never want to transfer your site to another ISP, you will find BusinessServe to be fine (provided nothing goes wrong with your account or their servers of course).
However, if you want any technical information, or something needs fixing, forget it. Their technical support seems designed to frustrate anyone who wants to exercise any control over their own site. They treat their customers as idiots and try to keep them that way.
One one occasion, they upgraded the server software with a major new version of PHP that broke existing applications. When questioned about this, they denied it. They do not allow uploading of .htaccess files, apparently for 'security reasons' (so say goodbye to custom file not found pages). Similarly, if you want to FTP content to your site, you must use one of their own dial-up lines, or pay a hefty additional subscription fee. (Presumably the additional fee makes it more secure.)
Despite this, their servers are insecure. Until recently, the server-status pseudo page was not disabled on our server. A glance through recent pages served showed that their server had been hosting porn and hate sites."
